  • Slide 1 Herb Chambers of the Herb Chambers Companies, Swampscott resident Rich Doucette and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh attended the Boston Common Illumination Fundraiser event at the Hampshire House in Boston. At the event, Chambers presented the Fund for Parks and Recreation in Boston with a donation of $25,000 to help fund Boston's holiday lighting initiatives. The donation was part of the Chambers' sponsorship of the Boston Cup car show hosted earlier this year, which Doucette serves as the founding chairman. From left, Doucette, Walsh, and Chambers.

The largest crowds in the four year history of the Boston Cup converged on the common last Sunday to view some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. Ranging over 125 years of history, the motorcycles, cars and even a rare bus wowed VIP’s and the public alike.
