Public Transportation (MBTA)
Green Line into Boston to Boylston Street station
Drive/Park:
Parking at the Boston Common/City of Boston Underground Parking Lot on Charles Street
From the South:
Southeast Expressway North (Rts I-93,1 and 3 north) to exit 20, follow the signs for south station and Chinatown. Follow the Chinatown ramp to the light and turn left onto Kneeland St. At the 6th light turn right onto Charles St.
From the North:
I-93 or route 1 south over the Zakim bridge and continue south into the central artery tunnel. Stay right and follow the signs to exit 20A (South Station). Go straight up the ramp and onto the surface artery, turn right at the 5th light (look for the Chinatown gate after the 4th light) onto Kneeland St. . At the 6th light turn right onto Charles St.
From West (Rt9):
Follow Rt9 all the way into Boston. When you pass the Prudential center move into the left lane and turn left onto Dartmouth St into Copley Square. Pass by the Boston Public Library and turn Right onto Boylston St. Stay in the left lane and after 3 lights follow along the side of the public garden turning left onto Charles St.
From West (Mass Pike):
Take the Mass Pike into Boston. When going under the Prudential Center stay in the right lane and take exit 22. Follow the signs for Copley Sq. When you exit from the ramp immediately move into the left lane and turn left onto Dartmouth St into Copley Square. Pass by the Boston Public Library and turn Right onto Boylston St. Stay in the left lane and after 3 lights follow along the side of the public garden turning left onto Charles St.
